About VINF
The Vancouver Island Neurosurgical Foundation is a non-profit composed of a team of neurosurgeons and researchers operating out the Victoria General Hospital and the Royal Jubilee. The VINF creates clinical and academic programs to improve patient care and outcomes. The VINF strives to reduce patient wait times, minimize surgical risk, increase research and education and contribute to the acquisition of advanced technology.
Shorter Wait Times
The VINF creates clinical and academic programs to improve patient care and outcomes. Clinical Fellows from across Canada come to Victoria for specialized training and research opportunities.
Research and Education
The VINF research team collaborates with national programs including the Rick Hansen Foundation, and presents at international conferences advancing the science of neurosurgery.
Advanced Technologies
The VINF contributes to the acquisition of new technologies that help to minimize surgical risk for patients and improve patient outcomes.
